Join Becky the WonderFool for uplifting hilarity and creative empowerment in this intergenerational clown/comedic performance workshop. Drawing from more than 15 years of performance experience and a decade of teaching theater and circus arts, Becky the WonderFool leads participants through playful movement, voice, and character exercises. With an emphasis on collaborative creativity and positive support, participants will leave this workshop with an expanded sense of possibility and a deepened connection with joyful play.
Designed for ages 10 and up, this workshop is appropriate for anyone who wants to practice playfulness in a supportive and fun environment. Experienced performers will leave with improved skill in building connection with audiences, inspiration for comedic performance, and greater confidence in character work. Novice performers, students and business people alike will learn to take creative risks, get comfortable “being on stage,” and cultivate increased enjoyment of everyday wonders.
