Juggling

Participants learn to focus their attention and build skill step-by-step to achieve success. We learn to manipulate and balance balls, rings, clubs, scarves, peacock feathers and other objects. Students leave the workshop with effective practice techniques to continue their learning.

Partner Acro-Balance

Participants gain awareness of their bodies to discover their strength while building trust and communication skills. This workshop focuses on learning strong postures for sharing weight, safe spotting techniques, mutual support, and embodied realization that the impossible is possible.

Clowning

Participants adorn themselves with all manner of silliness to discover delight and wonder in the simplest of things. Solo, partner and group exercises allow opportunities to embody the eccentric within and explore attention to the subtle and extreme. We focus on breath and engagement with the audience to develop delightful and hilarious performance. It’s good to be a clown!

Creative Movement

We explore our potential range and quality of movement, using animal walks, embodiment of emotion, various speeds, levels and intentions. We use mirroring, unison, follow the leader and collaborative composition techniques to discover new ways of moving and/or to create performance.
